BOX OPENING 2x!
Yay finally an entry after a very long break from LJ.
Yesterday I claimed 2 big arse boxes from our customs office and it was actually fast and tax weren't that high...the doll deities must have pitied me.
So enough chatter and lets go on with the box opening pics!
First box:
The Dollshe IM Hound was one of the BJDs that I always wanted. After years of
searching and failing Dollshe re-offered him again for a discounted price.
I grabbed the chance to bring him home.
A friend of mine from Korea ordered him for me because Dollshe tends to ships faster
to Korean customers I dunno why or maybe it was just by chance or something
but I just wanted to avaoid the more or less 12months waiting period for a DS boy.
As expected he was delivered a tad faster but my friend got busy with her schooling and
coz of this trip to me got delayed.
No problem with that since targeted artists for his face up all went on a hiatus :(
Thank you Dollshe for providing foamed boxes! I am running
out of doll space and these kind of boxes helps alot in keeping
the boys when not in use!
Certificates! I always thought the 2 atm/credicard like certificates
were for the SA and OE faceplates but now
I think its one for the head and
the other one is for the body.... not sure
can anyone enlighten me about this?
Checked the divine dollshe hands...all
fingers are intact no damage!
Long kicky legs! He's strung a tad tighter than
the usuall dollshe string tension.
Gyaaaah can't wait for the face up
artist's shop to re-open.
2ND BOX
This is sorta kindda of a re-introduction not really
a new charcter....
I can just imagine kyophile spazzing
at the site of Yukinojo....LOL
Made me happy that this is included since
I don't have any clothes for him...atleast
he has underwear LOL.
Kindda wished that I bought his
awesome sneaker and tracksuit set.
This is a SDgou body for the
Genji head that I have for sometime
now. Finally he has his own body.
It has a neck ball enabling
the head to tilt upward and downward
further than the other body would allow
i guess.
TADDDAAAAA!!!! He'll get a new face up
and a new wig soon! But atleast now
he can attend meets!
I satrted in this hobby with an EID form Iplehouse and then a
Mega Gem from Soom, meaning I was originally drawn towards
buffed bodied BJDs but coz of their limited posseability I shipped
to slender/slimmer bodied ones. Just so glad that Volks did this gou body
as it's buffed and yet so poseable.
Will take better pictures and review of the Gou Body. Gyaaaaah his joints are
so diff, even his KIPs are placed in diff manner than what I expected.
