A BJD SHOP IN THE PHILIPPINES....something like that
Like most newbies I have spend countless hours looking online for Philippine shops that sells BJDs!!! But like everyone else I failed miserably.
Since most of my friends didn't get to escape my anxiety a lot of them have helped me out to hunt for these fabled shops. Then one day, during our lunch break, a friend of mine who is collector of NBA figurines asked me to help him to go to Shopsville Greenhills to look for a figure that he likes and just to keep myself entertained I went with him. I was amazed by the numerous 1/6 scales figures that I saw and started to ask from shop to shop if they have BJDs but alas none of the shops keeper even knew what a BJD is.
I entered the shop named THE SECRET WORLD OF NEVERLAND (you can't miss it guys its on the third floor of Shopsvilles). This shop have the best samurai 1/6 scale figures that captured my imagination. As I went in to explore more of their displays I veered to their production section and VIOLA!!!! Up on the shelves were three (3) cute little girls and they are BJDs! They are dressed in rock band lolita costumes with their props and all and they are price Php8,000.00 each (could be lowered). They are probably a foot tall high(is that called YO SD? really dunno am a total newb) and they hold poses quite well. I am not into girl dolls but for those who are looking forward to owning their first resin child I think you should check these girls out.
