(no subject)
I was debating on leaving LJ, but I was excited about the great day I had,and decided to share it with my journal.I was applying for a job at a local body shop,and I ran into one of my dads old school running buds.
The guy has always been into cool cars and muscle cars ,at that. So, he was showing me his 2006 Hemi Daytona Dodge Charger R/T with the Hemi,fully loaded, then he said some magic words,"Hey, you like Mopars, want to take it for a spin? " the rest is history.
We drove down the road a good piece and he let the Hemi have it for about a half mile. From the stop, the car never stopped pulling and we was 0-120 in no time,at all (guessing 0-60 was about 4.5 seconds)It's probley running about low 13's or 12 seconds in a quarter.. Talk about Muscle,this Charger kicks major butt! He is going to run it this week at the track and get back with me on the ET's, but whatever it runs,I loved that ride.
AND YES ! When I got behind the wheel I gave that Hemi a beating ,and it was pinning us to the seat until I eased up on the throttle! Now ,that is a muscle Car! GO MOPAR !
