imaginaryalice mentioned a meme where you make a playlist of songs that describe you and your life. Well, since I pretty much already have one like that (of 30+ songs) I picked the best (11 songs) and here it is:

This whole song, really, fits me. Here are all the lyrics. When I first heard it, I was just about to graduate high school and I started crying because I thought about all the things I hadn’t done yet in my life because I’ve been too afraid. This is one of my favorite songs ever.

Perfumed hearts everywhere

She is the prom queen I'm in the marching band

Again, a song that fits me in every lyric. These are just the ones that stick out the most to me. Ever since middle school I’ve always been so jealous, although I guess that’s not really the right word, because it’s not like I want to be them, of the popular girls with the boyfriends and the pretty looks and all that. I think I’m more annoyed at the injustice than anything else. Because I know (or I tell myself) that these girls have nothing going for them other than looks, yet they get the boys and the attention and all that. And I tell myself that those aren’t the kind of boys I want anyway, but it just bites when I’m a nice girl who (not to sound too conceited here) is much more mature than them, and no one cares or notices.

Are you starting to see a pattern here? That’s really because I set this playlist up by categories, and these are my “Look at me, I’m different!” songs. But I love the line “I am a poster girl with no poster,” because I feel like I’m a good role model for young kids, and I say that because I work with them a lot, and I strive to set a good example for them. But I don’t get recognition for that. These kids want to follow sluts like Lindsay Lohan, and I’m doing my best to teach them that they don’t have to be like that. I’m a poster girl with no poster.

I have to thank imaginaryalice for introducing me to this song in one of her fantastic vids. This song, maybe because of its teenybopper style (come on, it’s a Disney channel thing) reminds me so much of middle school, when everyone was so mean to me. Seriously, middle school was the worst three years of my life. I wish I’d had this song then, to remind me to just be myself and be every color that I am.

Ok, I know it’s getting a little repetitive now. But hey, I like songs that perk me up. Avril doesn’t have a whole lot of those, but I just love this one. When my day is really bad, I put this song on in my car and just drive. It calms me down a bit.

I saw a vid to this song (A Ron/Hermione vid) and I just fell in love with it. The lyrics are just so me. I take relationships so seriously, and I don’t even begin one unless I think it’ll go somewhere, and because of that, I know I won’t have as many relationships as other people, but I know the ones I do have will be good ones. I’m not willing to settle.

I just added this song yesterday, after seeing A Walk To Remember, and this song was playing when he was giving her the press on tattoo in the car. This is basically a follow up to the last song. It sums up my idea of what will happen when I finally do find the right person. And it may take a while (and I may not like that) but I know that in the end it’ll be worth it, because it’s going to be the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Yeah, I believe in love. I’m not a cynic (anymore).
10. Better Days- Goo Goo Dolls Download
I wish everyone was loved tonight
And somehow stop this endless fight
Just the chance that maybe we’ll find better days
My plea for the world to just wake up and realize how stupid they’re being. When I saw the Goo Goo Dolls do this song in concert, it hit home to me. As Johnny Rzeznik said, we need to live more, laugh more, love more.

If everyone shared and swallowed their pride

This one goes hand in hand with 10. I was just gonna have one of these, but I couldn’t ditch either one. I loved them both. People are just so freakin wrapped up in themselves that they don’t realize there’s a whole world of people out there who need help. I just wish people were more caring towards one another.
I just realized now that all the songs are sung by women except for my last two. Hmmm. Maybe cause I like to sing along, and it's easier with a girl singing. There's so many more songs I wanted here, but there wasn't room. And by room, I mean I was sick of uploading songs.
