State of the Muses v2.0
Too. Many. Muses! No seriously, my brain has exploded. Luckily it’s summer and I have more free time. But I expect come fall, some of these babies are getting the shaft.
Theresa Cassidy (Marvel Comics) siryn_song
-My original is still going strong, and still the most active.
-Communities involved in: theatrical_muse, makeyourlist, justprompts. Am considering joining couples_therapy so Terry can get over Ste. Like that’s gonna work.
-Plots going on: Losing Ste, Cassidy Mutant Health Center, she’s about to explode with the drinking thing any day now. And she wants to get people together for a fun day. Bumper cars and stuff.
-Prompts to do: All caught up right now. Will need to do a TM prompt probably next week.
George Weasley (Harry Potter) forgeisasaint
-Communities involved in: theatrical_muse. Had to remove him from au_muses.
-Plots going on: None right now. George is almost inactive, and basically down to prompt only, with a few responses from other muses when the time is right. I’m considering pulling him from TM and moving him over to justprompts. I like playing him, but if someone has to go, it’s going to be him.
-Prompts to do: Probably the drunk one.
Mel (Flight of the Conchords) conchord_chick
-Communities involved in: theatrical_muse. Inactive from sixwordstories
-Plots going on: None right now. Mel is basically around to heckle Jemaine and JP. It’s pretty fun, but I’m considering yanking her from TM as well. But I think George would go before she does. I like writing her prompt responses more.
-Prompts to do: All caught up.
Longshot (Marvel Comics) notbyalongshot
-Communities involved in: justprompts. I may move him into TM if I drop George or Mel.
-Plots going on: Brotherhood recruitment plot! Woot, I’m playing a baddie!
-Prompts to do: Something about his life being hunted on the island.
Jasper Hale (Twilight) whitlock_hale
-Communities involved in: eclecticmuses
-Plots going on: None right now. Jasper is pretty much prompt-only until his Alice returns (*sends love to Alice!mun, who is also the Hermione to my George*)
-Prompts to do: May’s prompt. Jasper’s easy to keep active because he only has one prompt a month to do. Which is the only reason I’m keeping him around.
Ianto Jones (Torchwood) badass_teaboy
-Communities involved in: justprompts. Seems like every community out there has a Ianto. But I couldn’t help myself, I love my little stun-gunning, ass-kicking, tea-getting, Jack-shagging baby. I think after Theresa he might be my favorite.
-Plots going on: Ianto is friends with Tobias from Animorphs! The two have bonded over crazy aliens, and now Ianto is trying to help the Animorphs by sneaking knowledge from the Torchwood archives. Sweetheart, did you not learn your lesson last time you kept secrets? *facepalm* His argument? “Well if Gwen can do it…”
-Prompts to do: His prompts are hard because they nearly all involve other characters. Right now that’s not a problem because Ianto doesn’t interact with any Torchwood muses (which makes me sad), but if/when he does it’s going to be a problem. And I can only write about Jack. *sigh* He’s also not very active. But he’s active in my head, good god. All the freakin’ time, with his little sarcastic comments. *loves him*
Remus Lupin (Harry Potter) new_moony
-Communities involved in: justprompts.
-Plots going on: Remus is played during the Marauders era. Right now Regulus is being an ass to him, and James is defending him. Poor baby is torn between being grateful, and being embarrassed because he can’t stick up for himself. Oh, and he thinks that 3 year old Tonks is adorable. Not like that! But really, that could be the source of their marital problems right there.
-Prompts to do: As the inspiration strikes. That’s why justprompts is so great.

-Inactive. I might stick him in justprompts once Breaking Dawn comes out, if the inspiration strikes.
Tara O’Shea (Boondock Saints OC) tara_oshea
-Inactive. Really only used for that one flashback RP.
Captain John Hart (Torchwood) notethe_sarcasm
-Never got active. I was going to put him in theatrical_muse, but I couldn’t keep up with the prompts for four muses. I’ll either apply for him if I drop George and Mel, or if I suddenly decide I can handle 4 muses. I might put him in justprompts, but I think Ianto is proof that unless you’re involved in another comm outside of that one, you’re not going to be playing with a lot of muses. And my Ianto refuses to talk to my Captain John. Stubborn little ass.
