Danny and I went down to New Canaan to see our Aunt Donna today, and i got to drive! It was really tiring though. So now i kind of want to sleep forever and ever.
We talked about colleges because that was the main reason for the visit. Aunt Donna and Uncle Brian helped us weed out what colleges seem to be the best choices. He made some REALLY good points about my, until recently, top three. He knows a lot about the area of New Hampshire that Colby-Sawyer is in, and he said that he won't let me go there lol because there is NOTHING to do. It is an hour from everything, basically. I got the same answer from a friend of my cousin Chris who is from new hampshire and she said there is nothing to do in that area. nooothing. So, while it is a good school, I don't know if I would like that. I like being about to go out and do something and not have to drive an hour to do it. Elmira is even further out than Colby-Sawyer, even if it does have it's own town. It's like, 5 hours from bristol. It's rather far and I don't really want to be an English teacher. So i think that is out. I hadn't even looked at the scores for Wheelock, but thier SAT and ACT scores are really low. I got much higher than the middle percentile. So Uncle Brian thinks I'm too smart for it. St. Michaels is okay, but it never was my top choice. And it only has elementary ed.

So it looks like Simmons and Wheaton are my top choices right now. I am seriously reconsidering Simmons AND Boston. I didn't think I could handle living in the city. Too much hype for me. But I know there are parks nearby that i can retreat to, and the campus is enclosed so I can get away from the hustle and bustle if i want. They seem to have a pretty good education program, and that is really great. The programs they offer seem to be really good. The whole all women thing, I think i can deal with that, because there are SOO many other schools in boston that have boys.

Any feedback?
