(no subject)
Well...I have some exciting news. I can't officially say anything yet, but it's BIG. For me anyway. More to come as details are allowed to be released... As of yet only a few people know, and I can't say anything until the official announcement. But I'm really, really excited!!
Oh, and y'all now about me and "Pirates," right? I saw Pirates in the theater well over 10 times. I've worn out the damn DVD. It's my all-time favorite movie. (Yes, even ahead of "A Few Good Men," though I've seen that one more than Pirates.) I'm intensely excited about the new movie, but I know that I normally HATE sequals (and I'm even more worried about the already-filmed third installment of Pirates). I'm afraid they're just building on a brand and not actually building a decent plot. From the outlines I've read of Pirates 2 and Pirates 3, I'm not too sure I'll care for them. But with the excitement I've had about the first one since a few minutes into it that first late-night showing...I'm quite certain I'll at least try to like it. And I probably will. (No spoilers, please!!)
I guess that's all that's really going. dropsofblood works all weekend, and I don't. Hmmm...this means I can sleep, go out, sit around, well...just about anything. I'll probably sleep. And I hate that, but I probably will anyway. Why not?
I'm leaving early today to get home and get dropsofblood. Then off to dinner (I think, in celebration of the above-mentioned mystery...she is the only non-involved person who knows anything about it, so don't be jealous). Then, PIRATES. Yeah, I'm a giant dork, I get it, k?
Maybe I'll try to take some pictures this weekend. I've let my photography lapse horribly. I need to finish that portfolio I started so long ago. Hell, I need to go through the pictures I've already taken first. I don't feel like going through hundreds of prints looking for good, representative ones, though. Anyone want to pose? My portrait/people section seriously needs a lot more faces...
Other than that, nothing new here. I'll release details as soon as is practical. And I really, really want to!!
