(no subject)
I would really like to write in this more often.
I am now in my third week of school. Things are going pretty well. Assignments are finally starting to come in. Not sure how I feel about that. I am enjoying all my classes though!
Working at The Collegian is going pretty well. I like it there. Just waiting for people to get their job done so that I can get my job done... sucks. Seriously, I could probably get out of there HOURS earlier if I didn't have to wait on other people. I'm still not so sure what takes them so long to get their work done. The other night was HORRIBLE... I had a full color page with two stories and absolutely no graphics. Luckily, we improvised and got the page looking fairly decent. Decent enough to print anyway.
My new laptop came in the mail last night! Yay! It's so... so... beautiful! haha
Also, I had someone's car towed last night. I have had so many problems with cars parking in my spot. I'm more than sure it's those mobsters whose apartment is in front of my parking spot. Seriously, they have parked there like 10 times (I wish I was exaggerating). I thought I was done with them parking there because both Rose and I are parking there so they KNOW someone owns that spot. And yet, last night I come home from a church fundraiser and there they are. I have left notes, my mom saw someone get into the car and told them that it was my parking spot, and nothing has changed. So last night I decided it was time I stop letting them walk all over me (or park all over me? hehe), so after talking it out a bit with my roomies, I decided I had given them enough chances and called the towing company. The guy got here and he was really nice. He was all, "Seriously? Every red zone in the complex is relaxed because of construction and they HAVE to park in your spot? Seriously?" haha I KNOW! So yeah, I feel bad for doing it but it was time to do something about it. AGH!
I think that's about it for now. LUNCH TIME! :)
