Recently went to a FASHION BUFFET held by Victoria Jomo! On 4JUNE2011
Just pay a standard amount for a plastic bag provided by them, enter and squeeze as many pieces as you can in the bag!'
They had $35 & $55; $35 was too small and not worth it so.. got the $55 bag, oh and green comes smacking me again..
Really happy with all the loots I got from there even though they provide more vintage pieces.
I like vintage things but not those ah-ma patterns and 50-60s design, so not my style... yet~
Went there early with Amanda @ 0900 and there was already around 100++ people there!
Heard that people started queuing at 0730 @.@ MAD
Didn't really know what to expect cos' it was my first time attending such an event plus I've never been to Haji Lane, let alone the shops.
And I thought Amanda was aunty enough to bring an umbrella but the Singaporean spirit saved us later on!
It started raining just before we went in and the shelters there were like.. fuck? It didn't block anything.
Was a mad rush when we got to enter and I was damn worried when I got to the first rack cos' everything was ah-ma-ish?
Squeezed my fat self through a sea of people to a second rack and managed to get a few items I really love!
Managed to grab the bunny tank tops as advertised by Qiuqiu !~ YEA BABEHH!
Thought I could get the reversible tanks but I could not find them anywhere :(
Was desperate for this awesomely cute owl tank but I could not find it either T.T
Continued on my journey through the sea and then it was time for squeezing!
Glad I got 7 pieces even though I felt I could squeeze in more but due to the time constrain... unfortunate really..
Enough talk, now for the peektures!~
That's the bag and the first shirt/ piece I grabbed - some random denim shirt. For the amount I paid, I think it's really worth it~
These two were hung on one hanger and I freakin' grabbed it like some gorilla ><
Wanted to 'give' the yellow one to Ping but she insisted on paying T.T but aren't they cute?!
Took the brown one at the last minute, pretty nice, love the material and.. dull colours suits me.
And god knows what went through my mind when I took the blue one, other than the colour, I love nothing.
Scored when I found the sheer top! Price states $32.90 plus I always see it in stores and am attracted to it so yea~
Swapped a dark blue piece for this Owl top with Amanda~
My pal for the day; new face to the journal? But have known each other for.. godknowshowlong lol~
Ate at Food Junction in Bugis Junction and we had the same bento? Aiya don't judge, I've yet to learn Japanese ><
After which we pop by Bras Basar to shop for a Ukulele, reasons of which is useless content here.
Headed back to Haji Lane and we visited almost every shop there!
Amanda went crazy and started wondering into all the shops there, even the second level ones which killed my knee T.T
Finally, we walked back to the MRT and headed home, jump into bed and slept like a pig. THE ENDEDEDED~
