Really good past couple of days. And strangely all the best moments involve cars.
I think Tuesday i went to the Cup with Adam Liz and Jeanette. Got some mouth watering spinach dip and an iced tea. as if this wasnt enough we then shamelessly went to dunkin donuts right after we left, taking no more than 100 steps. So with iced coffees in hand and the oppenheimer cd in the car we drove down the wantagh parkway. Thinking back it was really euphoric. hah. Jeanette was taking crazy pictures and with her headrest gone she was just turning around and laughing. I think that spinach dip or the caffeine just fuckin made us crazy. So after the windblown drive we decide to go to the wilson playground. obscene pictures with states, swings, etc.
Yesterday i saw Little Miss Sunshine with Nicole. The movie was sooo amazing. Really well cast, well written and not stupid humor. The family is in their broken down yellow VW bus trying to get Olive to the beauty pageant. Just had to reference the car motif. Anyway Steve Carrells character is funny as is Alan Arkins and the teenager. Then we watched project runway. Robert should have been kicked off, even though Bradley cant sew for shit. Too bad though because he has the most random and funny confession segments.
Today my mom woke me up at like 830 and asked me to go to the mechanic with her to get an oil change. I really didnt have a choice of going. Anyway we use this mechanic in Hempstead near Hoftra cuz its my step grandfather's son's place. So my mom and i walk down hemstead turnpike to dunkin donuts. it sounds terrible but we had a nice talk.
At like 2 or something Gish and Liz call me and i go to gish's. Basically did nothing for a while. James and Jeanette come over then we go to King Kullen. Woo mexican food. Those were some good tostadas. you guys are spoiled. Dave came over then we watched Dawn of the Dead. It really scared me but it gave us inspiration for our next car ride to dunkin donuts, in which we "pretended" there were zombies everywhere. I love laughing that hard. I wish i did it every day.
with all this fun i am sad to go to cape cod but im excited to see my sister and just relax on the beach. hopefully get some summer reading done and bring my laptop for some sci res fun. There is something about waking up in the morning there too. It gets really cold at night in the woods so if you have your windows open its really clear and crisp. In the house we used to get i would sleep under this skylight and wake up and it would be cool and a blue sky above my head with a pine tree thing. Okay im getting sentimental. I think my next entry will be on the cape. sucks that i wont be home when cait and kathryn get home.
Wow, count how many times i wrote Dunkin Donuts. It's my fuckin Mecca.
