(no subject)
i just brought the hymnal back to the church. I explained that i borrowed it and i wanted to make a small contribution. and the receptionist was like, its okay... are you sure? and i'm like, of course.
and becaue i'm me and i have no filter, i blurt out the whole thing, Fairmount park with catholic hymns, illegal copying of the music, all the way down to how i was supposed to give $20, but then i spent some on a sanwdwich and a pepsi so it was only 18 (AND i dropped an onion on the desk).
Father Francis was in the next room. mnow, the lady was really nice, no doubt about it. but i think she was probably happy to see me go, and as i'm walking out, Father Francis says (in a loud jovial voice - AND he got a haircut! he looks great) "Hey! Anybody who drinks diet pepsi is okay by me!"
