wow, i havent written in such a long time. its amazing how much i miss writing in this stupid thing. anyway... lets see. well ill start where i left off

the week of july 4th!
so, i work at the harris ymca (ok i wouldnt exactly call it work because i PAY to do what i do, i'm basically a counselor in training, but do what the counselors do but dont get paid. so i dont really get all the benefits of being a counselor, but it still makes me feel important when i say... 'yeah so today at work, my kids were horrible' and explain what happened.) with different groups called huddles. actually this week (july 4th week) i was working with was named smallville. (every year/summer they come up with a year theme and then the huddles are named according to the theme. but then every week has a different theme and every wednesday *which is wacky wednesday* you dress up according to that theme) they are the 8 & 9 year olds and they were CRAZYYY!! but thats ok. i had a fabulous time with them anyways. michelle (bffl from camp...) and i did our service weeks together after our training weeks. so we have to have names because at this camp (day camp) nobody goes by their real names. so, my camp name is roo and michelles is tigger. yes tigger & roo like from winnie the pooh.

the next week of july
ok so this week i went on a mission trip to ripley, tennesse (ugh let me tell you 11 hours in a 40 seat bus (even though it had tvs and the seats reclined) isnt that fun) and the mission trips "theme" this year is living inside out. you're assigned to a crew of 5 with an adult (to drive the van) and you go and work on a house. now, each house has its own problems as well as the residents financial and/or present disabilities. i worked on a house and all we did was paint. i painted a whole entire house. and it wasnt a regular color at all. it was a weird blue color. called respite. ok, if you see some of my shorts and their either blue or white speckled *NO I DID NOT HAVE AN ACCIDENT AND NO IT DOES NOT COME OUT* dont pay attention to the paint. anywho... i was in crew 34 (not that people really want to know some of this stuff) and i met one of the best friends i have ever had in my whole entire life!!! her name is CHELSEA GEULDENZOPF. ok... i might not spell it right, but i know how to pronounce it and thats all that matters.

ok i dont really feel like writing anymore. so ill pick up where i left off later.
