Sad

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Monday morning was very tough because there was no one to have bathroom time with. Kitty always waited for us on the counter to get out of the shower. Monday after work was tough because she always greeted us at the door. Last night we emailed all of the Kitty pictures on our phones to our email and downloaded them to the computer. We put the pics on a slide show and we both cried. Today was a little bit easier, but still sad. I keep thinking she'll come around the corner by the stairs. Last night we slept in our bed and she died on my side so it was weird sleeping there (we let the mattress air dry the night before after cleaning it). I know each day will get easier.

I know that Cali is sad. I know this because she hasn't been eating all of her food. She would normally eat her share and sometimes Kitty's share. Otherwise, she is acting pretty normal. We will get her another friend sometime after busy season.

Thanks again everyone for your kind words and for letting me express my feelings. I am lucky to have you guys as friends.
