Two months....

I'm starting to freak out a little bit about having to change my name. I only have two more months to be an Avenoso! It's too weird, and it's something I never thought that would bother me. It's not an option for me not to change my name, because I don't want to be one of those people whose kids go to school and get asked, why is your last name

It is a hard thing to change your name after you have had it for so long. I knew I was always going to change mine and did so shortly after we got back from our honeymoon-mostly because I needed to get my new PA driver's license asap. The rest I did gradually. I always liked having my Irish last name. I am also somewhat German so I guess Krug fits. I just identify more with the Irish side of me! It takes a while to get used to it. I think it helped that I was teaching at the time because the kids started calling me Mrs. Krug right away when we got back from hawaii and when you hear it all day long from many children, it starts to sink in. Now that it has been almost 2 years (I still can't get over that!), I am really used to it and like it. Change your name when you are ready! There will be plenty of time for you to be Mrs. Krahling. the credit cards are the easiest thing to do too. It is going to be hard to not call you jenave though, but Jennifer Krahling sounds good! Just be glad you are not Julia Gulia from the wedding singer! Glad you got your invitations done-that must be a relief! Have fun at your fitting!! Your wedding will be here before you know it!! :)
