(no subject)
I had a lovely day yesterday. Thanks to everyone for their birthday wishes. The day began with a mushy e-card from "The Lesbians" TM. Thanks, ladies. :)
Then I went to the dentist for my spring cleaning and got to see my favorite hygeinist (she only works Wed. and Sat. and it's been two years since I've had an appt. with her). Clean bill of dental health. Got a purple toothbrush and had no bill to pay thanks to insurance. :)
Went back home. Finished some freelanc work. Did a little crafting for luvsbitch's son Matt and got that in the mail when I met up with silvertedy downtown.
We had Thai food for lunch. Our waiter was horrible, but he did bring us a free dessert for my birthday. :) Got awesome prezzies, including Sharon Olds most recent book of poetry and a gravy boat (this is a Thanksgiving with the family joke).
We then went to the Uptown to see Hellboy which was okay. Silvertedy liked it more than I did, I think. But it wasn't bad.
Went home, finally got to watch Sunday night's Queer as Folk. Hurray! I needed my boys. Went to dinner with Chris. Came home watched the last half of Angel, checked LJ, and went to bed.
My knees still hurt, they were killing me last night. I took a big dose of ibuprofen before bed and the swelling was down this morning (although pain and stiffness were not). So I put my knee braces on both legs before the swelling starts and we'll see if that helps any.
I'm debating whether to go to the gym or not. I think I'm going to hit the pool and just do some upper body stuff in there. No kicking and no hot tub or steam room (heat bad!).
