Real quick before I go out to get drunk --
I was laid off today. Job cut backs and mine was eliminated. A couple different people are going to attempt to absorb my job duties. Should be interesting.
I'm handling it okay. I think I'm still a little in shock. There are only a couple jobs in the local paper today, but I'm going to file for unemployment and then call everyone that's hiring on Monday.
For now I'm over in Summit County for my avalanche class and I'm just going to try to have a good weekend. Thank goodness SAR is paying for the training and the hotel room.
Not sure where I'll end up, but I'm staying optimistic.
