This story was awesome. Sam and Dean are investigating a cult and the disappearances of people and they end up getting married. But it's not crack!fic and I was impressed at the interweaving of the marriage story and the investigation. Some interesting original characters and a great plot.

The "lifeguard AU" -- John is a lifeguard and he rescues Rodney from drowning in the ocean. In this verse, John's storyline changes after his time in Afghanistan. Rodney, however, has been to Atlantis and is now back on Earth. This is a story about pain and healing and connecting. It's really lovely.
