I've got either a head cold or an allergy problem. I'm leaning toward allergies because I feel fine I just have sneezing and runny nose. And the Claritin-D is mostly working for me

I took Tylenol PM last night and it worked wonders. I came home with con crud, too. UGH!
Did you see? Did you see?? It looks like NBC has ordered the back nine for FNL!!!!!! Woo HOO!!!! I'm behind on my flist, so you probably do know, but I'm so excited I can't stand it, so I'm fluttering around. :)
Do you have a laptop? Can you sneak away to a coffee shop and do your work that way? You can come to MY house in D. and use my wireless if you want. Or ear plugs AND ear muffs? Darn those sports fiends who don't know you need to work on Sundays!
I might go to the library. They've got wireless and it's close enough to the house. Otherwise I'll just take the laptop into the bedroom at the other end of the house. I'm just generally more productive with work at my desk. Thanks for the invite to D, but that's a bit of a drive for me. :)
I know - it's just a wee bit of a distance! I am playing that morning too - you could sit in the coffee shop and hear some nice renaissance music and be in a footbal free environment! I've been waking up too - but I think it's just my body trying to figure out what the season actually is right now. One day in the 70's and the next in the 40's does not a happy ruthless1 make!
Benadryl fucks me up. I get either really hyper (the adverse affect in kids) or seem drunk. I generally go with the Tylenol PM. I just don't like taking anything, but I can't go another night with no more than 3 hours of sleep.
Tylenol PM really works then? My mom recommended it, but I've never taken any aid to help me sleep before. Too often recently I've gone to bed exhausted only to still be awake hours later.
Yeah, it really works. But if you take it, you need to get 8 hours or you might be groggy. If it's late and I haven't slept, I'll only take one to help me fall asleep. If I know I'm taking them and it's early, I take two. It's basically Tylenol plus your average OTC sleep aid. You can just take the sleep aid. I just prefer to buy just one medicine since at least half the time I take them because I have a bad headache that I want to sleep off - so I want the pain reliever too.
I read your comment to Brandi and I was very confused, because the active ingredient in Tylenol PM that leads to drowsiness is diphenhydramine, it is combined with acetaminophen which is the pain reliever. The active in Benadryl is also diphenhydramine, so I thought it very odd that you have side effects with plain diphenhydramine but you can tolerate diphenhydramine and acetaminophen in combination. It is very interesting that you can tolerate the combo but not the single ingredient. I can't quite see why that would be, but apparently the combo is good and the single ingredient is bad for you.
Er, yes. I am a geek that works in the pharma industry and has an interest in pharmacology. Your reaction is really interesting, and I probably just tried to explain something you already knew. I never knew that the combo could effect people different than the single ingredient. I just learned something. :)

28 actually isn't bad when it's not windy or wet.
