(no subject)
I'm done! I finally finished the index. So what if they were supposed to get it this morning and they're getting it just before 5 EST instead? They're getting it and I actually think it's pretty darn good. Man was my edited copy marked up heavily though.
I wanted to go back and add subentries for a couple of people who have way to many references, but I got an e-mail from the boss man pushing for this, so I let it go. The editor had commented to me that the book is crap, so it's okay if the index is too. I don't necessarily agree, but I'm willing to step away and let it go as it is.
I'm walking away from the computer now. I think I'm going to just lay down for a bit and then come back and tackle project number two.
