Yeah, but think of the people who don't know what a blitz is, or a safety (and boy did it take me forever to really understand that bit of football scoring), or some football penalties. It all depends on what you know.

Thanks. I'm slightly mortified that I wrote this. You should have seen me this morning skimming all these curling websites saying what's the name of the area where they score? [the house]; what is it that they yell at the sweepers? [hurry]; what are the names of the lines again?

I was a mess. Because DT wanted curling and I felt like I had to give her more than just a post-match fic or watching curling. I had to actually give her curling, she deserves it. I spent a lot of time the last few days figuring out my teams. There was serious over-thinking going on.

*giggles* Okay. I just can't help but feel a little bit crazy for actually setting up an entire end. Keeping track of the moves. Brandi, I wanted to draw pictures to illustrate the layout of the rocks. Pictures! With yellow arrows.

Maybe I'll do one of those DVD commentary things for this, but with illustrations and Madden-style commentary. LOL.

What can I say? *is speechless* Not only is the story creative and fun and I love the pun of the end (<--pun!), but I am also amazed and humbled as to the lengths you will go to in order to make my birthday present as accurate as possible. Dru on ice! Watching Spike's ass as he throws his stone! (That upsets me in the Olympic coverage: they only show it from the front; where's my pretty asses?) I can completely see the action.
