I'm going to kill
winterlive because these guys have eaten my brain. And for those who don't know who CKR is (believe it not, Dancetomato had to ask), he's the hot guy smoking cigarettes in my lj banner and in this icon. He played RayK in Due South and was recently in Blade Trinity as a vampire (he played Parker Posey's brother, Asher). And he's Leoben on BSG.

here. This continues to be unbeta'd.
Note: Not only do I not know Callum or Denis, but I really, really don't know Parker Posey.
Come to the party, Callum. It’ll be greeeeaaaaaat. You’ll have so much fun. Okay so maybe those hadn’t been Parker’s exact words. And maybe he remembered the words with a little more whine than they’d been originally delivered. But he was standing in a Manhattan hi-rise staring out at the city lights because the only person he knew here was the hostess and he was too annoyed with her to actually want her company.
He pressed his forehead to the glass and sighed as he looked out. Almost thirty floors down to the pavement. Perhaps he could slip into the bedroom and fling himself from the window. Death would surely be better than all the phony conversations about fashion and indie films.
He fished a pack of smokes from the breast pocket of his suit coat -- Jesus, he was wearing a suit -- and shook out his last cigarette. Fuck.
“Bum a smoke?”
“Last one,” he griped as he turned to see Denis. “Share?” he offered with a smile.
Callum didn’t bother waiting for an answer. He lit up and took the first drag then passed it over. Denis held it for a second and just stared at Callum until he shrugged and reached out to take it back. Their fingers touched for the briefest moment before Denis pulled his hand away and pressed his lips to the filter.
Callum watched his eyes close and his shoulders relax as he inhaled. He smiled at the soft groan that escaped when Denis exhaled and passed the cigarette back to him.
Back and forth they went. It kind of reminded Callum of getting high in a friend’s basement when he was a teenager. Except those parties had been more fun. Everybody’d get drunk and there’d be blowjobs in the bathroom. But he didn’t drink anymore and he figured the shared cigarette was the closest he and Denis would get to sharing oral pleasure.
Denis dropped the butt in his mostly empty beer bottle and grinned. “Thanks, man. You’ve no idea how bad I needed that.”
Callum looked around the room then back to Denis as his hand came up to touch the cool glass beside him. “Believe me,” he laughed. “I understand needs.”
Denis met his gaze for what felt like hours until Callum spoke again. “Well, what I need right now is to take a piss.” He winked at Denis. “If you’ll excuse me.” And then he was slipping through the crowd with ease. Maybe there was something to be said for not knowing anybody -- nobody tried to draw you in to their conversations.
As he stepped into the bathroom he didn’t bother closing the door. He knew before turning around that Denis was right behind him.
Maybe he’d get his oral satisfaction after all.
