Frienship Ficathon story - Spike and Tara

oooh, am torn between lust over the pretty boys in the movie, and the sweet spike/tara dialogue. All good, though!

Ah... bonding over men in skirts - that's what friends are for! :)

On screen Orlando Bloom was kissing some woman who, in Spike’s not so humble opinion, was not beautiful enough to play Helen. He thought Orlando might have been a better choice for the ‘face that launched a thousand ships.’ “Wow,” he said. “That might actually be the best lesbian kiss I’ve ever seen.”

Heee! :)

That bit actually came from some commentary that I read on LJ back when the movie came out. It was so true, I couldn't resist using it.

Oh, i like!
They really DID have friendship potential, if only ME hadn't been so intent on screwing it all up.
*sigh*

I guess i need to rent 'Troy' some time.

I actually enjoyed Troy for the same reasons that Tara and Spike do. It's not a great movie, but there's some serious eye candy to drool over.

Yeah, that was the impression i got, too.
I want to see 'Alexander', as well - i hear the director's cut might be fun.

Yeah. I pretty much always see these big 'epics'. I'm just watch them for what they are and enjoy. I don't expect accuracy. ;-)

Awwwwwwwwww. That was lovely. I adore the two of them together and you did a fab job of capturing Tara's dialogue

Thanks sweetie. It was fun to write them together. I think there really was a lot of potential there for them to bond. Too bad we didn't get to see it on screen.
