Thanks for commenting. I'm glad you liked it and found it funny. Once I figured out who to curse, the story wrote itself. And it was wonderful fun to put Jayne and Anya together.

I really enjoyed that, even though I didn't know the Firefly characters to speak of.

And now he had a cock in his bed and wasn't that just a punchline he didn't want to touch?

How perfect was that line? Perfect perfect. Hee, you're such a naughty girl to take what your requester didn't want and make it the focal point of the story. It was a stroke of genius. :0D

Well, I chose to think that the request meant not to use the term as a descriptor for the male sexual organ. As soon as my vocabulary was restricted it was the only work I could think of. Roosters and cocked eyebrows and guns and cocky attitudes. Try as I might to go in a different direction, I was just obsessed. So I went with it. I'm quite pleased. I just hope smokeandtears isn't pissed off about it.
