Everyone else is doing it, so why shouldn't I?
Fanfic Writer Appreciation Week (March 6-13)
I'm going to play catch-up today since I didn't post yesterday.

ladycat777I stumbled across Ladycat's
Hunt Brother on ff.net back in the day when she first started writing it and thought, Interesting. It was the first of many Spike/Xander fics I would read in the months to follow. I made my way through all her stuff and then when I got involved in LJ, she was the first 'fandom' friend I made. Her writing style is all over the place: angsty, funny, schmoopy, smutty, extra smutty, downright dirty, and oh, did I mention smutty? ;-) My favorite stuff of hers, of course, is her
Hustler!verse: a 'series' of ficlets, several of which have been written at my request. (More? Please?) And she writes some of the best on the spot writing out there. I'm always amazed when she asks for prompts and you get a ficlet (not just a drabble, but a fic!) an hour or two later and it's not the same story retold for the fiftieth time but something new and interesting.

knotted_rose aka Abbie Strehlow
Abbie is amazing. Just absolutely amazing. That's it. Nothing more to say. *g*
Okay, maybe a little more to say. She writes Buffy, RPS, and CSI (which I'm soon to start reading). My favorites:
Pieces of Oz, a series of Oz/Xander stories filled with the most beautiful imagery and perfect tone and pacing.
The Sugarverse, (link fixed) the series that brought me over the to the darkside to the love that is hot, sexy RPS (David Boreanaz/Christian Kane/James Marsters/J. August Richards - oh my god the things she does with the boys).
Cracktrailer contributions that will blow your mind. Of all her characters here, JAR stands out the most for me. He's so vivid and gorgeous and I just wanna ... well, maybe that'll be the next story? She can write me in. *g*
And
CSI Slash which I haven't started yet but have no doubt is hot, hot, hot!
I also want to take a minute to recognize a couple of readers, because without them there'd be no point in posting my fic anywhere. I may writer for myself, but I post for the readers.

silvertedy, my amazing beta and my number 1 fan. She reads almost all my stuff before anyone else gets to see it and saves me from sometimes embarrassing mistakes. She's always honest with me and I appreciate that. And she nags me to write more, which is a good thing. Without the nagging I might never get anything finished.

ldthomps my number 2 fan. If there were no Silvertedy, this woman would be #1. What can I say about a reader who reads everything I post regardless of fandom and the fact that she doesn't know the fandoms? Wow. Your feedback keeps me writing, sweetie. It never ceases to amaze that you continue to read my stuff. I am eternally grateful.
