Thanks. I really wanted Xander to be different, but have a bit of his old self there. I liked showing the geeky old Xander at the beginning and then letting his changes come out through Spike's observations. I think put a few years post-Chosen he should be different. I'm glad you like where I took him.

Awwww, I loved this! One of my favourite aspects of a new Spander story is seeing them get together--how it happens. This was sweet and adorable. *happy sigh*

Sometimes the how is the best part, sometimes the later result is more fun, and sometimes we just want a little smut (or a lot of smut *g*). I always have fun writing right up to the smut though, and leaving people to imagine the rest for themselves.
