Happy Holidays

I made it back to Seattle in one piece. Once again, I just barely made it home before all the snow. Seattle has about a foot of snow at the moment. When Seattle gets snow, the entire city shuts down pretty much. That's okay by me. We have a large pile of firewood, several books for curling up and reading, ingredients to make butter cookies, cranberry, white chocolate chip cookies and fudge, the pets are snuggled up on their beds in front of the fire, the fridge is stocked with enough food to ride out World War Three and Safeway is in walking distance should we run out of eggnog or hot chocolate. Life is cozy and I am ready to go into hibernation.
