I got my results for the animal control officer test back. I got a 89% and my rank is 85th. So, I think I've got a slim shot at getting that job. But, well see. They also emailed me this huge personal information packet that I filled out. They wanted everything from previous employers and social security number, to contact information on past

Yeah, cashier at a grocery store is another one of those jobs that everyone thinks you can get at the drop of a hat, but I applied for tons of those and didn't get a single call back. Maybe things were like that twenty years ago, but times change, and people need to realize it.

There aren't as many jobs at the mall as there once were, they are harder to get, and they're usually only part-time. Contrary to popular belief, part-time is not better than nothing when you've got rent to pay. The people in my apartment office will not accept just half the rent every month because it's "better than nothing." I've got to have a full-time job. And people always said to me that I should just get two PT jobs like it was just that easy. Just that easy to get them, and just that easy to get your two managers to coordinate their schedules around you and your two jobs. Things like that are usually said by people who already have jobs.

In other words, I'm bitching again because I wish people would be more empathetic. :D
