looking for an author.
Fionn had such good luck coming up with an author out of the blue I thought I'd fly one up the flag pole and see who might know it.
I read several short stories in 6th grade as part of a reading program. In the same book as Spit Nolan (Bill Naughton) but I think from a different author was a story about a child who's parents painted a jungle mural on one wall which sort of ended up coming to life. It reminded me of the "holo" type technology in Spider Robinson's last book of the Stardance trilogy, but this short story was more like fantasy sci-fi than technology sci-fi.
