Vacation: All I Ever Wanted.

Spring Break so far has been awesome. The Key West trip was pretty awesome from start to finish. I got Eryn hooked on Degrassi (we made it through 34 episodes) and I got some serious tanning (I only got a little burned on my shoulder). Eryn got really burned, but she didn't seem to mind too much. We spent a lot of time out by the pool or the lagoon, and one day we got in the hot tub with some guy, and then persisted to follow him around for hours, just to get confused because he had a twin brother with the exact same sunburn on his back. It was odd.

We went deep sea fishing one morning, and I got pretty seasick, but Eryn caught 20 fish. Which was pretty damn awesome. We also went snorkeling and I almost got sea sick again, but I didn't! (this guy from Jaimaica did, though, I felt really bad for him). We got to see some fish and it was all tight. When we weren't tanning or swimming or playing Lego Star Wars, we played volleyball, etc.

One night, we actually went into Key West (we were staying on Duck Key), and it was quite an interesting experience. It was the strangest mix of people I've ever seen. The mansions were next to the shacks, the ferraris next to the beat up shit-mobiles. Lots of dirty jokes on the shirts displayed in the stores, lots of stores with rainbow flags hanging out of them. We went into some art museums and wandered around the town. It was pretty damn fun.

It was nice to be away from a computer and from the rest of the world, in a sense.

Now, it's back to reality. I have a paper due Monday as well as a project, and I have rehearsal Saturday. I need to get back to the gym as well.

New Degrassi tomorrow, that's always a good thing!

Hope everyone else had a wonderful break.
