We Built This City.

Summer has just begun, and already it feels like it's been weeks since I closed that locker for the final time. I've spent so much time with my friends, and it's been bliss. Finally, I feel like I've found that group of people that I can call up no matter what time of day it is and be completely open with. Friends are a valuable thing.

I don't think people realize how valuable friendship is until you feel like you've almost lost it.

So, what does the summer hold in store for me?

Well, first, I have to get through going to Ohio and the SAT/ACT, which is just the pinnacle of summer activity. But hopefully some camping or canoeing will be involved, and of course, raiding the Magic Kingdom.

Oh, and the film project, which I briefly gave up on but then re-worked so now it will be he project that I always wanted it to be (if all goes well!).

So, I will end this first journal of summer with a quote, one that sums up the fantastic group of friends that I mentioned in the beginning of the post.

"How sweet it is to be loved by you"

Or, perhaps a more appropriate quote:

"It's not herpes if it's all over."
