Very uneven
So I can't decide if today was a good day that ended up bad, or a bad day that had some good sprinkled into it.
GOOD:
- I had an awesome, free lunch today with one of my professors and two students.
- I PASSED MY COMPS WITH DISTINCTION!!!!!!!
- I sold 2 textbooks back and got $20 out of it!
- Beautiful, although brisk, day out today.
- Finished my last paper!
BAD:
- I got up this morning and went to AU for a loan counseling session and found out that Citibank has a "consolidation freeze" on effective tomorrow. No more consolidations until further notice. DAMN IT.
- I forgot that I was supposed to work at the Arts Barn tonight, when all I wanted to do was to sit at home and hang out with the roomie and play Lego Star Wars.
- I also forgot until just now that my key to the Arts Barn is currently sitting in a junk yard somewhere, in the midst of a pile of twisted metal and glass and old Arts Barn posters.
- So I had to hurry to get to work so that my boss could give me a spare key, so I didn't get any dinner.
- Then I found out when I got here that I hadn't put my hours for today on my time sheet so it got signed already and I'm gonna get a short check next pay period.
Grargh. I'm most concerned about dinner. And all of it is because I am an idiot.
