Ohhhh papers
What a lovely Saturday to be spent locked up at work. Booooo!
I finally got another idea for my Power midterm, thanks to my rather prodigious choice to put together my study notecards for that class yesterday. It gave me all sorts of ideas for writing, and so here I am, writing them.
I also have a short essay due by midnight tonight, which I only just found out about yesterday. Apparently Blackboard has done something weird with my classes, and separated me out into a different class called "Spanish Sociolinguistics - Grad". Members of this class apparently do not get emails. Luckily I can still access the page for the regular class, which is where I found the assignment posted. Weird-o.
Last night Ryan talked me into going to contra. I think I'm glad I went, but it was hard to remind myself of that this morning as I woke up to go to work. Yuck.
Tonight I think my family and I are going to Buca di Beppo for dinner. This makes me ridiculously happy.
Well, enough procrastinating . . . back to paper-ing!
