- Does everyone know that Stardust is being made into a movie? Now you can watch the trailer.
- A friend sent me a link to this article about Rostropovich, written by Steven Isserlis. Be sure to read the penultimate paragraph. It is awesome.
- Right now, I have a piece of a book display in my room that says "DOG" in big letters and a little motor in the back makes a little cardboard dog-head shake back and forth. It makes a quiet "hmmm-whoosh" sound that's actually quite soporific.
- Just so you know, rabbits are crepuscular. Moose are not.
- My viol won't be here for a few weeks yet. I am having it shipped to Blaine, and then I am going to dash down to get it. It'll be easiest if I am the one declaring it at the border. I'll get a green card for it then!
- I had three bottles of Strongbow left. My parents invited the other brother and his fiancee over for dinner. Five is a bad number; I don't like sharing.
- I will be very glad when April is over. So much stress is happening this month!
- The Children of Húrin is coming out on Tuesday. So beautiful. Full colour plates, everyone! Eeee!
- The Canucks actually won tonight! They didn't really deserve it, but it went into overtime, and they got lucky. Pyatt the girly-girl scored the winning goal (and a beautiful one it was, too). I was getting stressed out because it was in overtime, so I was putting a concerted effort into patting the cat, and then we scored! Maybe I just shouldn't look!
- This is all I have to say.
viol,
movies,
