I love dates (the events, not the fruit)

Dates are fruit, right? Or is it a nut? Hmmmmm.....

Anyway, I'm talking about going on dates. I love it. I've been going on dates with the same person for 9 years now, and I wouldn't change a thing. You're always in a good mood when you're on a date with the one you love. I don't care how grouchy I was in the morning, if Nick and I go on a date, I'm happy.
So anyway, after Nick got out of work yesterday, we went over to Bridget and Eric's house for a cookout. I LOVE hanging out with my nephews. I got to hold James for over an hour and I didn't want to give him up. He's such a good baby. Peter and Thomas were running around the backyard and being the adorable boys they are. I love those kids.
So after eating and hanging out for a little, Nick and I went mini-golfing. There were a lot of people there so we did a lot of waiting, but that was OK. As much as I hate regular golfing, I love mini-golfing. Maybe if they just put cute statues, little fake rivers and clowns on the regular golf courses, I'd like golfing.
After I beat Nick at mini-golf (I think he doctored the score a little so I would win) we went to the movie store and rented a few movies. Then we went to Maggie Moo's and got ice cream. Usually we eat the ice cream in the car while driving home, but this time we stayed there and sat at one of their outdoor tables while we ate. Then we went home and watched Ms. Congeniality 2. (Nick let me rent it, bless his heart.) It was funny. I think I liked the first one better, but this one was good too. Then we watched a couple of episodes of Arrested Development (another DVD we rented) before going to bed.
Don't think we went to sleep when we went to bed. Oh no. *wink* But since this is a PG blog, I will end the date-description there.
Ahhhhh, I love dates. I hope Nick has a day off next weekend.
That is all.
Geez, how many times did I say the word 'love' in this blog? Let's see... 1..2..3..4..5..6..7 (including the 'love' in the last question. Wait, that last one makes 8. :)
