Tried to use the translator function on a mobile phone the other day. It recognised "heart" and "potato", but not "horse" or "cheese". I know these devices have limited storage space, and I suppose some words are better than none, but really - no cheese?! If I could be arsed I'd try thousands of words to try to build up a picture of the world Nokia imagines their customers inhabit. From the limited evidence I have so far, it looks like the Interaction Designers got their User Story mixed up with the script of Apocalypto.
