Okay, I totally screwed up and forgot about this. Whoops. I’ve got no excuse this time. I wasn’t even writing anything. Ah well, that just means I have to get back on track. Or maybe put a post-it note somewhere to remind myself.

Title: Run
Prompt:
re_bourne + Suspense
He can feel them closing in. It’s a second sense at this point, knowing when the CIA is getting close. He doesn’t even immediately run anymore. He’s calmer about it. He knows they’re there and he can take a few extra hours to make sure everything is picked up correctly and he doesn’t leave a trail. He never leaves a trail, but the CIA finds him anyway. It would bother him if he wasn’t aware how powerful the agency was.
This time, though, he makes eye contact with one of the agents. He can tell the other man is an agent by the way he tenses when their eyes meet. For a second they hold each other’s gaze and then the man is talking into a radio. Jason spins on his heel and runs.

Title: Stereotyped
Prompt:
sniffsniffsnipe + Humor
“What’s this?” Ian picked up the offending glove, which was pink and covered in sequins.
“Saw it, thought of you.” Dani didn’t look up from her book, some biography on Einstein. The girl is such a nerd. Ian was a little surprised to realize how bad it was. He never suspected just looking at her.
“It’s like a gay Michael Jackson glove.”
“Exactly.”

Title: Safety
Prompt:
goteam_magic + AU!High Fantasy
Life as a sorcerer’s apprentice was not glamorous at all. Dave spent most of his time in high towers, which were very drafty, mixing potions and reading large dusty books. His Master, meanwhile, was out helping break curses, negotiating treaties between trolls and generally being a hero.
This was actually fine with Dave. His first magic lessons consisted of nothing but healing spells and potions. He was fine in his tower.

Title: Hello, Goodbye
Prompt:
12yrs_life + AU!Mutant
“You’re just leaving. After everything.”
“I have to.”
“Bullshit Crews…”
“You don’t see it, Reese.” He looked over at her, his walls firmly in place. He cared about Reese. He would never look at her with his new abilities. He already knew her demons. He didn’t need to know them like that.
“I’ve touched death too many times. I see it now, feel it sometimes too.”
“That’s why you flinched…”
He nodded. “I’ve got to go, Reese. I need to get a handle on this.”
“You’re my partner.”
He touched the back of her hand lightly. “You’re my partner. Always.”

Title: Alternate Universe
Prompt:
ironknifehunter + Hurt/Comfort
“So we both lived?” Jo looked over at Sam, trying to wrap her mind around what he had told her. She didn’t remember anything about this alternate universe. Apparently Cas didn’t think she should get to remember.
“Your mom married Bobby.”
“She did?”
He nodded. “They were really good together.”
She sighed and Sam put an arm around her shoulders. She tucked herself against his side. “Yeah, they would’ve been.”

Title: Survival
Prompt:
lieu_murphy + AU!Weird West
It wasn’t easy for anyone to recover after Revelation, but the Widow Murphy had it harder than most. A woman running a cattle ranch? Wearing pants and riding horses? She got her hands dirty and the townsfolk didn’t know what to do about it.
Then there was that ranch hand of hers. A man just shows up in the middle of the night and gets a job? No, that wasn’t right. None of it was right.

Title: The Best Things Happen When You're Dancing
Prompt:
givesapush + AU!Other Show: Glee
Rocking on her heels, Dani looked out over the auditorium. The New Directions - the stupidest name she had ever heard by the way - were waiting expectantly for her to start. She flexed her toes in her Convers for a second before getting the guts up to speak.
“Look, I’m not a great singer,” she said with a slight shrug. “But this school doesn’t have a dance team, you guys are as close as I can get. Stick me in the harmonies, let me dance once and awhile and I’ll be happy. Okay? Okay.”
She signaled the band then forgot all about the people watching. All that mattered to her was the beat and the dance. She sang because she had to, but she let her dance moves do all the talking for her.

Title: In Blood
Prompt:
simplyguy + Horror
He sat with his maman, stroking her hair back from her forehead. It was sticky with blood. His hands were covered in it from where he had slipped on the floor. His pack was all around him, all dead, even the little ones, the new pups. All of them, all of them except him.
What was he supposed to do now?

Title: Immigration
Prompt: Writer’s Choice:
soldier_ofgod + AU!Vampire
“You want us to hunt vampires?” Dean Winchester scoffed. “We ain’t got vampires in America.”
Castiel regarded the American hunter calmly. “You do now.”

Title: Unknown Substance
Prompt:
singlesoccermom + Crack
“Hey there, beautiful! You’re looking very, very pretty today. Extra pretty one might say.”
“Face, stop flirting with my wife.”
“Aw, boss, come on.”
“You can flirt with me when you’re not high on an unknown narcotic, okay, Face?”
“You’re the best Jenna. The best. Elope with me.”
“I’d have to get divorced first.”

Author’s Notes: Charlie’s mutant AU is his psychic verse, because basically he’s a mutant in that. Well, he’s technically psychic. It still counts. If Dani was in Glee, she’d totally join the New Directions because she hates cheerleaders and just wants to dance. She’d never care about solos and would probably have a crush on Sam. She’d also tear Karofsky a new one because she’s always fierce. Also, I suspect I’m very bad at writing horror and suspense. Probably because I never spend much time in those genres.
