You're not a loser until you pull the trigger

Suicide. What a stupid thing to do. I know what it's like, don't get me wrong. I'm not the only one that's surprised I haven't kill myself off yet. Don't worry though. This isn't going to be a depressing post. I'm doing very good. In fact, I'm very happy right now. It's just that I had a revelation: when someone wants to kill themselves, they have two paths in front of them. The one on the right is the path they'll be on if they choose to go on and endure through the rest of their lives. The path on the left, is where they'll be if they killed themselves. Sure, if you kill yourself, you'll be at peace, at rest. But then again, we don't know what comes after death. At least, not yet.
But think about this; if you were to take the path on the right, the one where you keep going, you increase your chances of things getting better. It's like this; if you kill yourself, you also kill any chances that things could get better in the future. If you don't kill yourself, it's like you have AND keep the 50/50 (or more) chance that things WILL get better and will be okay. Which is better: to die now and not know what could have been? Or choose to live on, no matter what, with the slight or great chance that you'd have a good life? Because we don't know what will happen in the future. And as depressing as that may sound, it is actually a very good thing. We don't know what will happen, therefore we cannot judge whether things will remain hellish. Because chances are, they won't. And therefore, things CAN change, and for the better. I would rather live the rest of my life with the chance of things becoming good, even if they never will. Say they never will (which is rare), then the day that I die would be the equivalent to the day if I would have killed myself and died earlier. Thus, I would not lose anything. See? It is so much better to live on, because it's better to have 70% chances of things getting better than pulling the plug and have 0% of things getting better. I would not want to kill myself now only to "look down" at the Earth from the afterlife seeing that things did go better. I would regret an act I could never undo.

You don't want to LET it kill YOU, do you?
