I wrote this song in world history, on my way to lunch, at lunch, in art, and finished it in language arts.
Canopy of Flames:
Flames come in a furry over the hill.
The trees fall and the animals run.
As the clock ticks the flames grow bigger and stronger.
People turn to the sky hoping for some sign of rain.
But all they see is a tree top canopy raining down ashes.
The flames rush into town
taking building by building down to the ground.
As people look toward the clock tower
the flames mesh into the suns fiery blaze.
The burnt trees and demolished buildings leave a smokey haze.
The people run for thier lives .
While thosands of people try to dry their eyes.
A family that lives close to town sees the fire blaze its trail.
As they get in the car and drive away the flames devour their lonely home.
The kids watched as their home burned to the ground in a blaze of glory.
This family were they only five people to make out of the canopy of flames. All of the family says they could hear the screams of the people in town
as the everyone and everything burned
to the ground under the canopy of flames.
