О списке из ста лучших фильмов

Обычно, когда в сети появляются новые 100-films-you-must-see-before-you-kick-the-bucket списки, то сразу раздаются комментарии на тему того, что следует включить, что следует вырезать. Сегодня я испытал на себе такие комментарии - в честь сотого выпуска школьного журнала меня попросили сделать подобный список.




"Почему старая какашка Back to the Future на первом месте?!"
"Мой любимый Big Fish только на 99-м!"
"А где Titanic?"
"А где лучший боевик Predator? Дискриминация жанра?"
"А где классика ужастиков? ... Ну те римейки японских. The Ring, скажем."
"Почему там Toy Story, а не WALL-E?!"





Writing a list of must-see films is always a hard thing to do. Should the list include obscure classics that most of the people haven't seen yet? Or should it include contemporary mainstream films? I have decided to go with something in the middle. In order to interest you in watching these films there will be mainstream classics and more independent modern films. The main thing is, though, there are 100 films in this list that you definitely should watch.
