To Live, To Learn, To Love in a Major Key
My life in 30 seconds: I've got a week left until school starts. I'm still mourning the end of the Harry Potter series. I've had major revelations about my novel and will be writing again shortly, I can feel it. Also coming soon is another rant on my battle with religion, as I'm changing my thinking yet again, or, honestly, I'm discovering my real feelings again.
In the meantime, however, I've been putting together a little playlist for the Harry Potter series. There's no rules whatsoever, and I have about 40 songs on it already, but I'd love to hear suggestions. I have some on there that are character based (Radiohead's "A Wolf at the Door" for Tonks, Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life" for Voldy), songs that have lyrics that go along with the theme of the series ("Isaac" by Madonna, "Ashes" by Embrace), lyrics that have inspired me to write fanfic or that remind me of prominent fanfics (Josh's "February Song", "Breathe Me" by Sia) and songs that I've listened to as background music while reading, or seem to go along with certain scenes ("Read My Mind" by The Killers and "Glisoli" by Sigur Ros...PERFECT for Chapter 34 of DH, btw).
So, if you have any suggestions, a song that you tie specifically to HP for some reason, I'd love to hear it. Suggest away!
