I'm leaving Wednesday morning, getting into Boston that afternoon, and immersing myself in the wonderful insanity of the Potterverse again. I can't believe that I haven't seen some of these people since London two summers ago. That's crazy. I'm singing with a group of friends at the opening banquet, too, which will be...memorable. Nice neutral term there, as I'm sure it will all work out in the end but I've yet to really look over my music. Whoops...
I SHOULD BE PACKING RIGHT NOW BUT I'M TOO EXCITED.
I need to at least get laundry done. And make all my lists.
Sarah's going to come in Wednesday night to watch the finale of American Idol with me and Ann and Nina and whoever else we can drag in. There will be alcohol involved. Hilarity will ensue. I will most likely cry if Adam wins. I will most definitely cry if he doesn't, cause you know he'll just give the world's biggest smile to his BFF and he and Kris will hug for ten minutes and omg...
Just so you don't have to doubt, I want to put this out there right now. I love Kris. LOVE. His sneaky self has somehow managed to steal away a little bit of the heart I thought I'd given in full to Adam Lambert. Alright, so it was kind of their mutual love for each other that made me feel like it was okay to love Kris. Oh, and his voice and awesome arrangements. And his pocket-sized cuteness. Um, but other than that, definitely the Kradam love. But let's get this straight: I will only be voting for Adam tomorrow night, kids. Adam is IT. He's what I've been waiting to see for the past 7 years on this show.
Um...and another small, tiny, insignificant detail... Anne Rice emailed me.
Yeah. I had emailed her ages ago, never thinking she'd actually get back, and she did. I have to say, she is one awesome person. She basically told me to keep moving forward no matter what, and to believe in my own voice. This is why I love her.
SO MANY REASONS TO FLAIL RIGHT NOW. I can't choose just one, so I'm flailing for all. OMFG JUST ONE MORE DAY AND THEN I'LL BE IN BOSTON!!!! AND IDOL AND GLEE TOMORROW!!!! AND SARAH AND ANN AND ERIN AND NINA AND OMG!!!!! ANNE FREAKING RICE!!!!!!
