So about my weekend being increadibly boring...again, lol.
Sick as a dog-- Sick as a dog
I woke up yesterday and i couldn't speak-- Oh and by the way! Sorry for not being able to make the Love fest party i really wish i was there...i can't get enuf of..you know..love... but i hada much better time downing benadryl and watching my 2 little brothers screaming as I'm coughing up my lung and downloading "My friend's hot mom: Niome" on Limewire, lol.
I fell aslleep on a chair yesterday and i woke up and there was a dog ontop of me.
Speaking of which, i woke up today put on a sweater almost walked out of the door to walk my dog- then i remembered i forgot "pants"- so i put them on and when me and hunter went outside, i stood there. Took a few seconds to take it in. Cried a little. Then went right back inside....and coughed my colon out. lol. Yah- so about it being fricken freazing!!!
With all of this time doing nothing,i finally got some homework done, that was nice. With my 4 defficianies, i kinda needed to do that. but i also just you know "browsed" people's myspace, searched crap online, bought pointless things- u know one of those catching up on pointless info days. It was nice. Cheyenne jackson is such a homo. Speaking of Homo's i was watching jake gyllenhaal in Jarhead- i really hate actors that are so amazing. I wanted to slap him and say please don't be so good at acting. I will give you money...Yah, yah, i know he was great in brokeback mountain- but i think he was amazing in Jarhead- if u saw it u know what i mean.
Brandi made cupcakes and they kick ass.
I really hate being sick and i'm worried about hurting my voice, everytime i cuagh it's like one hundred little woman (show point) and in my throught biting my vocal chords. Any one know what could help?
Ok before I go into my oscar shenanigans- here’s some jokes to prepare u:
An American businessman was in Japan.
He hired a local hooker and was going at it all night with her.
She kept screaming "Fujifoo, Fugifoo!!!", which the guy took to be pleasurable..
The next day, he was golfing with his Japanese counterparts and he got a hole-in-one.
Wanting to impress the clients, he said "Fujifoo". The Japanese clients looked confused and said "No, you got the right hole."
A man was having problems with premature ejaculation. This was affecting marital relations with his wife so he decided to go to the doctor. He asked the doctor what could he do to cure his problem.
In response the doctor said, "When you feel the urge to ejaculate, try startling yourself".
One the way home the man went to a sports store and bought himself a starter pistol. All excited to try out this suggestion he runs home to his wife. When he gets home he is surprised and delighted to find his wife in bed, already naked. He's so horney and keen to try out his new 'system' that he doesn't think twice and leaps on board. After a few minutes ‘slap and tickle’, they find themselves in the '69' position. Sure enough, only moments later the man feels the sudden urge to come. Following doctor’s orders, he grabs the starter pistol off the bedside table and fires it.
The next day, the man went back to the doctor. The doctor asked, "How did it go?"
The man answered, "Just great, asshole...when I fired the pistol my wife shit on my face, bit 3 inches off my dick and my neighbor came out of the closet naked with his hands in the air!"
One day, Pete complained to his friend, "My elbow really hurts. I guess I should see a doctor."
His friend said, "Don't do that. There's a computer at the drug store that can diagnose anything quicker and cheaper than a doctor.
Simply put in a sample of your urine, and the computer will diagnose your problem and tell you what you can do about and it will only costs you $10.00."
Pete figured he had nothing to lose, so he filled a jar with a urine sample and went to the drug store. Finding the computer, he poured in the sample and deposited the $10.00.
The computer started making some noise and various lights started flashing. After a brief pause, out popped a small slip of paper which read:
1. You have tennis elbow.
2. Soak your arm in warm water, avoid heavy labor.
3. It will be better in two weeks.......
That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was and how it would change medical science forever, he began to wonder if this computer could be fooled.
He decided to give it a try. He mixed together some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, and urine samples from his wife and daughter. To top it off, he masturbated into the concoction.
He went back to the drug store, located the computer, poured in the sample and deposited the $10.00. The machine again made the usual noises, flashed its alights, and printed out the following analysis:
1. Your tap water is too hard.
2. Get a water softener.
3. Your dog has ringworm.
4. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo.
5. Your daughter is using cocaine.
6. Put her in a rehabilitation clinic.
7. Your wife is pregnant ....... twin girls. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer.
8. And if you don't stop masturbating, your elbow will never get better....
I am so bored...What r everyone's views on the Oscar's this year? Lol. Pretty big year, it's the first year i've seen every movie nominated for best picture and every performance that got nominated for a lead actor/actress award. Yes...u knew this was gonna happen, you knew it! Don't deny! Here are my views (OHHHHH NO)
PS: If u have a netfix account vote for who you think will win, and if you get a certain percent right u get free rentals and craps- yah and if you get them all right- you get money...or sometin.
BEST PICTURE: BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN
Ok, i know...I don't start! lol. It wasn't a "bam" desicion- as emerald would say. It was between that and goodnight and good luck or munich. But Ang Lee's simplicity in the direction of such complicated emotions, really made the movie stand out for me. I believe the story is a lot more complicated then people take it out to be, the emotional conflicts are hard to understand when u are critisizing it. that's what i did when i first saw it, and when u view the movie liek that-- it's slow pace might seem boring. But if you watch a movie like me, you really dig for the emotions , and i have yet to see a movie that has shown what a deep internal emotional conflicts in such a real way. to really respect the movie, yo u have to be an emotional viewer, lol. Yes i did cry like a mofe.
LEAD ACTOR/ MOVIE: JUAQUIN PHEONIX (Walk the Line)
Yes the movie was Ray- except for the whole black and blind thing, lol. But i liked it- and yes u know me I'm the little bitch that falls asleep in ever movies thats over and hour and a half long. But in this catagory it was no question. The minute after i saw the movie i predicted he would win. I have so much respect for him (and it's kinda hard to have a respect for anyone whose name is juaquin..it sound's like he's some sort of cracker or breaded substance.) and how he portrayed J.Cash. I believed every choice he made was just what Johnny Cash would of, i really felt like i was watching the behind the scene's footage. Again i really like internal actors, lol. throughout the whole 10 hours of this movie, i saw the character grow and evolve and in the famous scene where he's drunk and reese witherspoon tells him to walk the line, i decided that i liked the character. He captured so much without imitating him (unlike reese withersppon at time, don't! You know she had her moments who ever is arguing!!!
ACTOR IN A SUPPRTING ROLE/ MOVIE: JAKE GYLLENHAAL (Brokeback mountain)
By far the easiest pick of the night. I thought he was 10 times better then Heath Ledger and i could argue it till...well...just till. I found myself really liking the character that was supposed to be the annoying little dog of the movie, and disliking the character you were supposed to take the journey with(The reason i didn't pick heath ledger). I think he is definitly the best actor in Hollywood right now, so he should do what every amazing actor should do- and it is to drop movies and do a play, lol. I won't go into depth, becuase i could go on forever- but he took an approach that really shocked me and made me really enjoy the presence of the person he created. I felt the realism portrayed in the movie came out in his character and he didn;t have to mumble the whole time or play a submissive character to show it.
BEST ACTRESS IN A MOVIE- FELICTITY HUFFMAN (TRANSAMERICA)
This was a long debate between her and Reese Witherspoon, but when it came down to it, felicty did a better job. Both characters were based off of real people, and Resse (she still was wonderful) had moments of imitation. I really hated the movie i wanted to die with the rest of the senior citizens watching the movie. But i remember there was this one scene towards the end which she had a break through and just for that scene i think she deserves a reward. Plus it must be hard to be a woman playing a man playing a woman who aslo plays back to a man at certain times, lol.
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS/ MOVIE- AMY ADAMS (Junebug)
This was between her and Michelle Wiliams, but Amy had...well i don't know- but i really liked her in this movie. I really can't even back this one up- the girl in the constant gardener was also really good. It was hard, but I really like her acting style. It was something very different then what’s usually nominated. She probably won’t win because of this, but whenever she came on screen- my eyes just went right to her. She had a presence that I think the character was written to have and took the role with full force.
DIRECTION: ANG LEE BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN
Easy, not getting into this again- here we go in a nutshell. Really simple unique direction to complicated emotions, complimented the acting with the directing (which was really important in this movie), presented the landscape with a story and mixed the surrounding with the plot, stayed true to script still using artistic direction, created a dry tone with the connections, ACTUALLY SUPPORTED THE THEME with the way he accepted the cinematography.
ANIMATED FEATURE: WALLACE AND GROMIT
The one I hated the least
I’m not going to go into the rest, b/c they are boring- but here are my thoughts/
