In winter, blue is the warmest colour
This is one of my favourite dresses. I love the colour and the fit, and best of all, it is wrinkle free. The string of diamantes around the neckline means that this dress has to be hand washed, and we all know that hand wash = don't-wear-unless-absolutely-necessary-so-why-buy-in-the-first-place-I-don't-know-god-damn-it-I'm-an-irresponsible-shopaholic.
The only reason why it got worn at all was because my other good dresses were at the tailor's getting altered. Oh, and it was the New year, which is a special enough day to warrant the fuss. There is an art to wearing this dress - I have to stand stick straight, tuck my tummy in, square my shoulders back, and maintain a statuesque composure that even a dipliomat's wife would approve of. The silhouette of the dress is quite unforgiving otherwise. After a few hours, I suffer from really bad body aches! The only time I enjoy wearing this dress? When I take it off and let everything hang loose. Haha.
