About to prepare to propose some revolutionary piece of theatre/drama for my Theatre module. I wish the meeting would be as interesting as the project sounds. Mas Selamat, and the like.
Last night, I attended one of the world's most un-romantic ROM session and wedding dinner, possible only in good 'ol Singapore. FOUR HOURS of torture, bad company and bad food. It being held at some classy, uppity hotel didn't help. I didn't even know the bride and groom. They are going to look at their photos and go, "Who the hell is that??" But actually, they looked as if they were just going through the motion. Y'know, just to satisfy all the fussy old Chinese relatives and such.
How bad was it? There were two weddings held in ballrooms adjacent to each other and the brides were wearing the same evening gown. (`o`)
