Well, fuck. Why am I up so early? Well, yeah its like 10:30 or something, but I've been up since like 7am, and I went to bed at 1am. My whole body clock is all fucked up right now. I figured I should give everyone here a bit more, so you know just what I've been up to lately.
As I mentioned in my introduction, I have a new CD coming out, this week in fact. I'm Not Dead is its title, and if you live in Europe, you might actually be able to pick it up now. It was released in some of those countries yesterday. The US release is on Tuesday.
I've been over in Europe the last few weeks promoting the CD for the people over there, and we already have some tour dates for Europe set for the fall. Don't ask about a US tour, I'll be sure to let you know when one happens. I've been all over Europe though. London, Paris, Amsterdam, Germany, etc. You know the deal. I've been over their singing Stupid girls, which is the current single.
I flew back in from Paris back on Thursday, and now I'm in Los Angeles at home for a few days. A few days that is almost over in fact. Tonight I'm making an appearance on the Kids Choice Awards, and then tomorrow I hop on a jet headed for NYC. I'm doing some television shows this week and next to promote the album. This week we have The Today Show bright and early Monday morning. Then on Wednesday you can catch me on TRL.
Rzeznik asked me last night to not be one of those celebrities that make a journal to just delete three hours later. Well, I haven't deleted yet right? Nah I have no intention of deleting. I think I'm here for the long haul. Just don't expect daily updates or some shit like that because I'm a busy girl alright?
Last night, one of those American Idol kids IM'ed me, Kellie. Well, they call her ballsy on the show, and I guess they are right because it took some balls to IM me right? She's a cute kid. Really sheltered though. Like really.
