First Tutorial

Well. So it didn't go bad. But then, half the group didn't read the texts yet because there was some mix up with the lessons and so on. This made it rather uninteresting to talk about the texts as only two responded at all. On the positive side, they are only six people in the group at all. Maybe one or two more who didn't turn up. Cozy.

I'm not sure if I did it right, though. Should I have forced someone to summarise one of the texts? Should I have asked them to define single terms? I don't want to make it too much like in school. Definitely have to talk to the other tutor about all that next time we meet...

What's worse is that I don't think I understood all texts good enough to explain it to someone else. Stupid theory stuff. I agree with the professor that they shouldn't shock the beginners with all that right at the beginning. I mean, they haven't read any literature yet and thus hardly can connect theories to something more palpable. Hmpf.
