I'm a good girl, I am
Listened to reason, for a change, and went to the doc.
Bf looked up a doctor right across the street who specialises in natural remedies (I hate the docs who throw medicine at you for anything). The guy even had office hours today, so I toddled over, waited a bit, talked to him, and now am officially too sick to work until next Friday.
I just hope my professor accepts that, already sent him an email about it.
What upped my spirit was that the doc was quite impressed by the herbs I already am taking (in a good way), he didn't need to prescribe me anything and had no other medical suggestions to make. That comes from being too familiar with colds...
He told me to stay in bed and 'sweat it out'. So, I'll take this day off and try my best to get better. And hope that girl who writes about a topic close to mine sends me an email with her text soon. Pity I don't have a laptop. I guess snuggled up in blankets with a hot tea in front of the computer will do.
