This is so great!

You know how I always whine away, around mid-June, when everyone gets out of school and I still have 6 weeks left of school, including exams and end-of-year hassle? I do it mostly in comments, so if you didn't get the brunt of it this year, consider yourself lucky.

Time to flip that coin!

I see all your posts on going back to school and raise you: two weeks of Croatia, starting Monday, along with three of my best friends. Best part: it's the off-season, so that means the beaches will be (relatively) empty. Plus, it's the same youth travel organization as last year, and they're really good in taking care of everybody and making sure you have a great time. Also: two disco trips into Pula and Medulin, both of which are great party towns, and possibly Venice!

I leave on Monday, so that still gives me about 4 days to get everything ready.

On a completely different note, the third apple cake this week just came out of the oven. Our fruit haul this year is staggering. My brother and I couldn't even pick all the apples, simply because we ran out of containers to fill, even after we had started supplementing crates with flower pots and buckets. And we only have 2 trees!

Believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to school again. I hope our class stays the same as last year.

So what have I been doing these last 3 weeks, you ask? Well, practicing the fine art of doing nothing! And no, I have never heard of this strange thing you call "paragraph transitions." ;)

Cheers!
