Fuck, I totally messed up my Latin exam today on Ovid's Metamorphoses. This really sucks, as it's going to mess up my average - plus, I was hellbent on improving the 4 I had last semester.
Basically, the exam was two parts, translation and exercises. The exercises were all right, I got most of them right. But the translation was pure hell. I was sitting there for at least 5 minutes trying to find a place to start. In the end, I got about 50% of the sentences in a form somewhat resembling German, and in the others, I just wrote down the words, so as to not lose points for missing vocabulary. Goddammit.
(LOLfactor: on my first exam, I had a 5 (29 mistakes on the translation!!), and on the second, a 2! That's on a scale from 1-6, but a 1 isn't really acquivalent to an A; I barely get 1's on my English exams, even when it's English as second language.)
Add to that that I only got 3's on both Physics and Math, so all in all, I'm not a happy camper at all. At least my exams are done, thought I still have school till the end of July.
