summation of the past five days:
Mon. ready to send cornell my capstone for the writing sample since the application and website did not specify that i should declare a concentration.
Tues. called cornell to confirm i could major without a concentration. "No," they say, "we thought the application made that obvious." great.
so, i stayed up all night writing stories.
Wed. continued not sleeping. continued writing. slept some that night.
Thurs. woke up at 6. kept writing. turned everything in exactly on the deadline. "yes!" i think, "now i can be drunk for a long, long time!" then i realize..."don't i have something to do tomorrow?" yeah, that's right...the GRE. went back to my parents house. the GRE practice CD made the computer crash...and so did the GRE site. i slumped off to bed.
Fri. damn. DAMN. the cd still won't work. i finally snuck up on the website long enough to download a pdf version of some GRE practice suggestions. they sucked. alex drove me to chattanooga. i took the fucking test. maybe cornell will still accept me. ugh.
alex took me out for sushi and saki. came back, drank more, smoked lots, and now it's saturday and there are tater tots.
